Opa Food & Spirits

The food here is wonderful. I will mention that some of the bartenders are not the most pleasant on game days/nights. They don’t like turning on the sound for the games and this place has a wall of tvs because what, it’s a quiet, family restaurant for the elderly? No because it’s a “Sports” Bar & restaurant! I wish they were more supportive of enjoying watching the Lions, Pistons, Tigers, Red Wings, etc! We’d come here more often if they were!

We had a party at Opa on Tuesday. 50 people were there. The manager, Pattis helped us put up decorations, made sure we had everything we needed and helped her staff serve us. Amazingly, they allowed everyone to set up individual tabs so nobody got stuck with paying someone elses tab. Pattis and the staff were terrific. Always smiling, always alert and always attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this place if you're having a party or just want to go somewhere for lunch or dinner.

Came here for lunch and was very impressed with the menu selection. Our waitress Daisy was fantastic, very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu! We had the Saganaki, Honey Almond Chicken Salad, homemade Mac and Cheese, and I highly recommend all! The prices were a bit higher than the area I’m from but I think they might be average for the Lake Orion area, and also the food was high quality so they were probably fair.

I hadn't been in a long time, and a lot changed in that hiatus! I walked into a very busy bar-like restaurant with no direction on whether we had to wait for a table or just sit wherever was open (we went with the latter). It took a long time for anyone to come over to our table. She was very nice, but she also took a while to come back to get our order/drinks/food. It was clear they were very understaffed. The food took a long time to come out. Also, each of our meals came out at different times, with around 3-5 minutes in between each person's meal. Although I received my food last, I ordered one of the specials (Tuna Bowl), and it was very delicious. Another visit! The food was great, but the service was even slower this time. Again, the food came out in small waves with a lot of time in between. Their Spanakopita is my new favorite spinach and cheese pie, and the Autumn Harvest Pizza is unique and tasty!

Great little place! They only have a few traditional Greek dishes (which I was looking for and the name indicates). A lot of the food fare is traditional "Americana". But the food quality was very good and the service was attentive and proficient. This place has a little bit of a sports bar ambience, but that was fine with me. We weren't looking for "fine dining" just a fun place to grab a bite! Opa fit the bill quite well!

We go to Opa’s quite often and they always do such a great job; especially with me having to customize things so I can eat. Their salads are always delicious the Honey almond salad is amazing! They also get to know you as a customer.

We weren’t going to go stop to try it out because we thought it would be too late at night and the bartender saw us walk in and walk out and actually walked outside in the cold to let us know they were still staying open even though it was on the slow side. Cosmo was a perfect light pink and the peanut butter cup martini was also great.

We went here for the first time Monday night and it was absolutely delicious!! My mouth is still watering from the Blackened Chicken Alfredo! Omg!! Was it amazingly divine! All of the food was like fireworks in your mouth!! The sauce on the spicy shrimp was sooo savory, I dipped my scrumptious bread in it! The pizza was so flavorful as well! Our waitress Nikki had a great personality!! She was sweet, genuine, and attentive. Thank you for maintaining a restaurant with outstanding food and service at an affordable price!
